Drosera Adelea is an easy, fast growing tropical Sundew. This carnivorous plant likes to feed on tiny flying insects and does not go dormant during the winter season. Drosera Adelea likes to grow in 50/50 Long fibred Spagnum and perlite. Keep this sundew in a bright location away from direct afternoon sun and high temperatures. You can keep this sundew sitting in a dish with 1 cm deep mineral/chlorine free water to ensure that is doesn't get dried out and to help increase humidity. Sundews are shipped bare root to ensure their safety and will need to be potted upon arrival. I recommend acclimating this plant after shipping by putting in a bright location and keeping it covered with a clear bag for the first day. Open the bag for 10 minutes the second day and gradually increase over the course of the week until it is ready to stay off. If you notice that your sundew is not as dewy you can cover it at night to give it a humidity boost.
